We provide free weight monitoring, blood pressure and diabetic testing. If blood pressure or blood sugar readings are abnormal we make referrals to physician’s offices for follow up or to establish a PCP. Assist with obtaining medications. Act as a directory for all medical needs. We have access to APS as needed. Answer questions related to medications, diseases & illnesses. Educate on heart healthy, diabetic and renal diets. We have various entities that attend to provide free screening, i.e Accion will be providing free colon & rectal screenings. As well as provide education on colorectal cancer. We make referrals to YMCA for free woman’s health screenings and mammograms for women who do not have health insurance. HMO companies come out to explain the different types of insurance that is tailored for their needs.
